Greengate's Heritage
Greengate Security Ltd was formed earlier this year to market and deliver solutions centred around the innovative SignHear system developed by Sign Assured Ltd.
The heritage of the SignHear technology goes back to the 1980’s when it was first conceived and patented by Rolls Royce for measuring the damage to fan blades from turbo jet engines using their “acoustic signature”.
In 2002 Sign Assured Ltd was formed to develop the technology and subsequently finalised the specification for the SignHear product that we see today. The product is at the cutting edge of today’s high growth biometric technology sector and the demanding security, access and time/attendance markets.
Greengate Security Ltd is a sister company of Greenlight Computers Ltd which offers IT support services across the northwest of England from its base in Manchester City Centre.
Greengate Security Ltd is focussed on designing, installing & maintaining the latest technologies to help our clients control and mange their security and access.
